Membership

Want to join WWA? We are seeking members who are interested in improving habitat and promoting waterfowling!

A few facts about the WWA:

  • We were established in 1945
  • We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization
  • We have 10 chapters throughout Washington, (see list below)
  • We spend all of our resources within Washington
  • We work closely with WDFW & USDFW
  • Several of our members serve on the WDFW Waterfowl Advisory Group
  • We are members of Washingtonians for Wildlife Conservation
  • Our projects include nest box construction, litter pickup projects, nest counts, working with Eagle Scouts and other youth groups, conduct monthly meetings, working at refuges, participation in sportsman's shows, donating funds to youth safety gun classes, conducting hunter education classes, hosting shooting events, building blinds, working with local Tribes,  and assisting with the planting of food plots for waterfowl to name a few!
  • We don't "contract out" our work, our members and their families roll up their sleeves and work together as a team to complete our  projects. We have a real sense of community and fellowship as we donate our time to enhance habitat and promote our favorite pastime, waterfowling!

What does it cost to join?
Individual Dues: $25 per year
Family Membership: $30 per year
Senior (65+) Membership: $12.50
Junior Membership (<18): $12.50
Lifetime Membership $750

Gray's Harbor Chapter: Includes Thurston, Lewis, Pacific, Grays Harbor and Mason Counties. Contact is Chairman Kurt Snyder, (360) 485-9353 or kurtsnyder@outdrs.net. The Grays Harbor/Chehalis Valley Chapter meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month (Jan – Oct) at the Evergreen Sportsmen’s Club, 12736 Marksman Road, SW, Olympia. Click here for driving directions.

Northwest Chapter: Includes Skagit, Island Counties and part of Snohomish County. Contact is Rone Brewer at (206) 595-7481 or nwducks@frontier.com. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 pm at the Conway Fire Hall on Greenfield Street in Conway.

Seattle Chapter: (Parent Chapter): Includes part of Snohomish and King Counties. Contact is Chairman John Arrabito at (425) 774-8291 or jarrabito@comcast.net.  Meets the 4th Wednesday of the month (Jan-Oct) at 7:30 pm at the Kenmore Gun Ranges, 1031 228th Street SW in Bothell.
